Papers, mainly 1905-1918, of Wagner, a boy raised in Madison, Wisconsin who served in World War I with Co. A, 9th Battalion of the 20th Engineers and who died in France after contracting influenza. The collection includes photographs, childhood and wartime letters, school papers, a 1913 diary, an album about a trip to Germany in 1913, a brief biography of his father, George Wagner, and other memorabilia.
